The Lessons in Leadership speaker series hosts distinguished alumni who 
have received a liberal arts degree from Penn. They will speak about 
their experiences as undergraduates at Penn, the challenges and triumphs 
they faced in their careers, how a liberal arts education helped them 
professionally and personally, insights into the industries they work 
in, and thoughts on leadership.

Hosted in conjunction with Penn Forum
This forum aims to provide the student body a chance to hear the policy 
differences between the three front-runners for the Democratic nominee 
for President, John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama, as 
represented by student groups within Penn Democrats. The policy areas 
that will be discussed are: Iraq, Education, Environment/Energy policy, 
Healthcare, and general foreign policy.  An audience question/answer 
session will occur at the end of the night.

Progressive students and CA staff discuss peace and justice issues and 
develop plans of action over lunch. Building coalitions with progressive
