Ambassador Wall, a Senior Foreign Service Officer with rank of Minister 
Counselor and former U.S. Ambassador to Chad. 


*2. Overseas Careers with the U.S. Commerce Department -- a discussion 
with a Diplomat

Come Explore Overseas Careers and get your questions answered about life 
as a diplomat overseas and the Commerce Dept's assessment procedure 
during this informal discussion with Diplomat Richard Steffens 
(Wharton/FAS 82 -- Fels 88) who is currently serving as a diplomat with 
the U.S. Department of Commerce. He will be on campus to talk to any 
students who are interested in exploring overseas careers with the 
Commerce Department.  He is not here to offer interviews, but can answer 
basic questions about life as a diplomat overseas and the Commerce 
Department assessment procedure.
